The ARCEx PhD fellows Ana Sofia Aniceto and Terje Solbakk, at Akvaplan Niva and NTNU, are blogging about their experiences as research fellows. Both are strongly committed to communicating science to a broader audience which is why they are involved in this activitiy.
Ana Sofia’s blog is called An Unexpected Journey of a PhD. In her PhD project she uses unmanned aerial vehicles to monitor marine sea life in the Arctic. This involves lots of field work that Ana Sofia writes about in her blog. She is originally from Portugal and in her blog she brings her perspectives on the Arctic life.
Terje is doing a blog for geoforskning.no. He works with seismic interpretation and modelling, and in the blog he aims at reaching out with science and explaining geoscience to a popular audience.
We hope you will enjoy Ana Sofia and Terje’s blogs, and we look forward following them on their PhD journey!
